Why Your Business Should be on Facebook
I was talking to a business collegue recently at our weekly BNI (Business Network International) meeting about the power of Facebook and how one can leverage that power for their business. I made the argument that Facebook always has been a social place to catch up with family and friends afar and I just was not interested in utilizing the social networking site for my business. Afterall, I already had profiles on business netwoking sites such as Linkedin. I did not need Facebook.
Boy, was I wrong! There are many advantages to having a presence on Facebook for your company. Here are some:
- Facebook now has seen more traffic than Google.
- Many of your company's clients and customers are already on Facebook
- Facebook is a great way to connect with your client base
- Gain exposure for your business
